Nissan Adds Twist to 'Ride of Your Life™ 2.0' Campaign


Driving a sedan doesn’t mean that you have to drive a boring vehicle. In fact, when you step behind the wheel of a Nissan Altima, nothing could be further from the truth. Proving this point is Nissan’s new “Ride of Your Life™ 2.0” campaign. It is the second installment of a similar Altima promotion from last year, but this time it is bigger and better than ever. The 2014 “Ride of Your Life” campaign showed off just how capable the Nissan Altima is by taking consumers on a racetrack with a stock Altima disguised as a racecar. This year’s event took it to the next level.


A group of consumers were taken to a mall where they had to try and “unlock” a large Smart Glass Box. Those selected were chauffeured into a new 2015 Nissan Altima and escorted by motorcyclists to a racetrack. Professional drivers then took them on a thrilling ride around the track. Afterward, the participants were able to take the Altima on their very own joyride. You can see the priceless reactions of the surprised drivers in the video below:


Along with the video, Nissan is rolling out a huge campaign highlighting the impressive performance of the 2015 Altima. “We’re going all out with ‘Ride of Your Life 2.0’ with a 360-degree mix of broadcast, print and social media extensions," said Vice President, Marketing Communications and Media, Nissan North America Jeremy Tucker. "It’s a high-impact campaign for our high-impact Altima.”
